Obituary of Shirley A. Spencer

SPENCER, Shirley A. Age 72 of Elmira, NY. She was born August 1, 1942 in Sayre, PA, daughter of the late Ward and Sara (Brennan) Martz and passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 unexpectedly at home. She was predeceased by her husband William in 2001, son William, Jr. in 2003 and infant son Willie in 1961. She is survived by her son Ward Spencer of Elmira; grandchildren Dustin Spencer of Elmira, Austin Spencer of Lawrenceville, PA and Cassidy Spencer of Towanda, PA; step daughters Judy McGrath and Sylvia Brennan both of Athens, PA; sister Louise Jones of Burlington, PA along with several nieces and nephews. Shirley owned the former Spencer's Ceramics in Sayre and the Texas Diner in Waverly.
