Obituary of Mary L. White

WHITE, Mother Mary Lee (Johnnie Mae) Greene, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 after an extended illness. She was a member of Faith Temple Community Church of God In Christ. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Deacon Willie White, Sr. in 2012; her children, Daryl White, Jennifer White, Ories White and Michael White; and 5 siblings: Those left to cherish her precious memories are: her beloved children; Richard Greene Elmira NY, Kenneth Greene, Elmira NY, Willie White Jr. Bellport, NY, Alphonso (Shannon) Greene, Horseheads, NY, Anthony (Valerie) White, Mastic, NY, Willie Lee (Pamela) Greene, Elmira NY, Robert (Vera) White, Bay Shore, NY, Rodney White, Elmira, NY, Nathaumn (Crystal) White, Elmira NY and her only daughter Arial (Naftal) Mumin, Elmira, NY; 34 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 4 sisters; 2 brothers and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends .Family and friends are invited to visit Faith Temple Community C.O.G.I.C., Standish St., Elmira on Friday, January 29th from 12 to 1 pm. Her funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Rev. Sam Pulliam will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
