Obituary of Paul Francis Morey

MOREY, Paul F., Sr. "Bud" Age 84 of Horseheads, NY. He was born March 29, 1932 in Hornell, NY, son of the late Paul M. and Hazel (Saxon) Morey and went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol; children Paul (Donetta) Morey, Jr. of Big Flats, Vickie Morey of Thomasville, NC, Donna Blauvelt and Marjorie (Richard) Gaylord both of Big Flats; grandchildren Derek and Ryan Morey, Alex Gaylord, Stephanie Burcham, Nicole Gaylord, Jennifer Taylor, Samantha Gaylord and Brandon Blauvelt; great granddaughters Katie an Emily Morey, Sabrina Burcham and Adelyn Taylor; sister Joyce Call along with several nieces and nephews. Paul attended the Community Wesleyan Church; retired from Kennedy Valve with 33 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, July 19th from 10 am to 12 noon. His funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Rev. Bob Russell and Rev. Art Evens will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
