Obituary of Bonita Jankowski

JANKOWSKI, Bonita (Bonnie) Age 73 of Elmira, NY. She was born June 16, 1943 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Wesley and Virginia (Mays) Hoover and passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 unexpectedly. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Jankowski; children and their spouses Michael and Constance Warren of Elmira Heights, Patricia and Brian Hughes of Sayre, PA, Susan and Thomas Anthony of Whitehall, PA, Tammy and John Garvin of Elmira, John, Jr and Pamela Jankowski of Lakeland, FL and Tammy Sue Viele of Horseheads; brother Ronald (Pauline) Hoover of Keeneyville, PA; sister Doreen (Gary) Burnside of Tioga, PA; grandchildren Lindsay Malone, Katelyn and Elizabeth Warren, Brett Fenstermacher, Paige and Courtney Hughes, Connor Anthony, Emersyn, Evan, Makayla, Tatayana and Darius Garvin, Jasmine, Jade and Noah Jankowski, Tonya, Nicholas, Michael and James Viele; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bonnie was an RN with the Arnot Ogden Medical Center and previously was employed with Thatcher Glass. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, August 13th from 1 to 4 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 4 pm.
