Obituary of Fred Lisk

LISK, III, Fred Age 77 of Mansfield, PA. formerly of Elmira, NY, He was born March 8, 1940 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Fred and Gladys (Jayne) Lisk Jr. and passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 in the care of his dear brother and sister-in-law. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda, in 2016, as well as his sisters Lucille and Hilda. He is survived by his sons, Fred Lisk IV of Michigan, Tracy Lisk, Jesse Lisk, and Clifford (Robin) Wilson, all of Elmira; his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother Charles (Loree) Lisk of Mansfield; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Fred served in the Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962. After his military service he held several local positions with the City of Elmira, Corning Glass Museum, and Naglee's Trucking in Elmira. He was a hard worker, a devoted grandfather and great grandfather, and a true friend to so many. Fred's hard work didn't end after work in his free time; he often repaired lawn mowers for friends and spent many an evening tinkering in his garage. Private services including full military honors will be held for Fred. His family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to the Bath V.A. and Guthrie Home Health Care for the care, support and comfort that was offered to Fred in his difficult times. Walter J.
