People in our community are constantly approaching members of the family to share their personal stories and connections about their blessed moments with George. Please, keep them coming and we will always hold him dear in our hearts and celebrate the many blessings of this life! George was passionate about reading and preaching the bible, and spending time with family and friends. He loved fishing, playing cards, riding his bike, and especially sharing wisdom with his many grandkids. He enjoyed gardening, watching sports, grilling, singing, driving, and laughing. He was a great listener – a spiritual leader to all in the family, a bright light in every room, and a calming, joyful presence. He loved everyone "a big ole bunch!" Family and friends are invited to visit Faith Temple Community Church, Harper St., Elmira on Wednesday, November 15th from 10 am to 12 noon. His funeral will follow at 12 noon.
