Obituary of Carrie Mae Scharborough-Butler

Carrie Mae Butler, of Aiken South Carolina, born 1938. A resident of Syracuse, NY, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully, early Tuesday morning while at St. Joseph's Hospital of Syracuse, NY. Carrie is predeceased by her father the late Edward Scharborough and her mother the late Avery Perry; and is survived by her brothers, Milton (Ann) Smith, Moses (Rhea) Scharborough, John (Ira) Scharborough, Henry (Terry) Jackson; sisters Josie Scharborough of Connecticut, Louise Robinson, Bessie (Joseph) Hughes, Annette Wicks, Kathy Scharborough and Vera (John) Wood, all of Elmira N.Y.; sons, Ralph (Regina) Scharborough Connecticut, John(Paula) Scharborough, and Robert (Mavis) Butler; daughters, Valerie (Orlando) Smith, Alethia Butler, Kimberly Butler, Iris Butler, all of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren, Jeremy, Kamal, Orlando, Tyquan, John II, Sevaughn, Antione, Ramone, Corey, Gregory, India, Khadijah, China, Nina, Karishma; a host of great grandchildren and many loyal and caring friends. We will miss Carrie. Family and friends are invited to visit at Shabach Tabernacle, 1133 Lake St., Elmira Monday, November 20, 2017 from 11 am to 12 noon. A Celebration of Life will follow there at noon.
