MARTONE, Brendin C.

age 16 of Elmira, NY. He was born April 17, 2001in Elmira, the son of Julie Lewis and Charles Martone, Jr. and left us to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 unexpectedly. In addition to his parents, Brendin is survived by his sisters whom he loved dearly, Kara Lewis (Steve), Jesica, Charlie (Jordan) Shania (Taylor) Martone; nieces Layliana and Lillianna; nephews Kaleab, Riley, Kendrick, Bryiden and Brantlee. He loved playing and wrestling with them. He was Riley's Xbox partner. They all looked up to him as a role model. He is also survived by his grandfather George Lewis; grandmother Bonnie Spencer; aunts Michelle, Stephanie, Katrese, Tesha Lewis and Linda Kelly whom he loved dearly. Favorite cousins Matthew and Ray Kelly, Erick Wandell and Helen Westmiller along with many other cousins that he loved. He had some favorite teachers who he looked up to; Mrs. Dufrain, Mrs. Clate, Mrs. Webster and Mrs. Silvers. To his teachers this year Ashley and Mr. Copp, he liked you guys a lot. Thank you so much for teaching him. We really appreciate everything that you guys have done for him. To Tracy Nist and Eli Nist, Brendin loved you like family and appreciate what you have done. You were such great people to Brendin. Brendin also loved his cat Junior. He loved playing Xbox, going to the skate park, riding his scooter and playing videos on his phone. Brendin was predeceased by his grandmother Julia Lewis, uncles Anthony Lewis and Raymond Kelly; nieces Mea Deprimo. He was smart and intelligent. A special thank you to Jade Stroman and Shannon Hardy for assisting the family. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, December 8th from 11 am to 1 pm. His funeral will be held at 1 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
