Obituary of Joyce Becker

BECKER, Joyce E.

Age 82 of Elmira, NY. She was born July 10, 1935 in Cortland, NY, daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Thompson) Joslyn and passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband Jack on June 1, 2007, as well as her brother William Joslyn Jr., sister Judith Joslyn, and her niece Jennifer. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Sharon Tyler) Roussin, Jacqueline Dengle, Jon Becker all of Elmira, Kimberly (Don Dieterle) Becker of Horseheads, Margaret (Charles) Johns of Elmira Heights, Clesson (Debbie) Becker of VA; grandchildren William Laughlin, Christine Roussin, Stephen and Catherine Dengle, Charlene Barlow, Alisha Talmage, Robert Johns, Joshua, Daniel, Rebecca and Rachel Becker; several great grandchildren; sister-in-law Judith Joslyn of Horseheads. Joyce was a former employee of the A & P Plant. She retired from Elmira Stamping with more than 25 years of service. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St., at Washington Ave., Elmira on Wednesday, December 20th from 5 to 7 pm. Her memorial service will follow at 7 pm.
