Obituary of Marianne G. Mood

MOOD, Marianne G. age 76 of Elmira, NY. She was born April 3, 1941 in Elmira, daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Pearson) Green and passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at home. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur A. Mood in 1997, brother SSGT Kenneth Green (KIA) and sister Vivian Birdsall. She is survived by her children Lisa Mood of Elmira, Susan and David Stojakovich of Sickerville, NJ and Michael Mood of Elmira; grandchildren Shanna Stojakovich of Pittsburgh, PA, David M. Stojakovich of Pittston, PA and Matthew J. Stojakovich of Philadelphia, PA; sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Charles Huff of Gansevoort, NY; brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Sherry Green of Elmira; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Marc and Lois Mood of Big Flats, Peg Connis of Binghamton, NY along with several nieces and nephews. Marianne retired from Stafkings. She was an avid reader and donated to many charities. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, February 27th from 7 to 9 pm. Her funeral service will be held there on Wednesday, February 28th at 1 pm. Rev. Edward Crandall will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
