Obituary of Bennie Adril Boswell

Bennie Adril Boswell Jr., was born August 26, 1966 in Elmira New York, passed away unexpectedly at his home May 11, 2020. He was a graduate from Southside High School. Junie as everyone knew him is survived by brothers Arthur George (Rhea) Campbell of Elmira NY; Mark (DeeAnna) Boswell of Gillett PA; sisters Bennie Belinda Boswell and Dianna Boswell of Texas; nephews George Campbell, Quinton Campbell of Binghamton NY, Jermaine Masker of Elmira Heights, Jarrod (Megan) Warner of Gillett PA, Brandon Adams (Amber), DaRon Fulmer of Elmira NY and Darius Fulmer of Texas; nieces Chantaya Adams (Casey) of Texas and Danielle Boswell (Xavier) of W. Virginia, Rasheikka (Storm) Felder and LaShaun Scharborough of Elmira NY; and a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins and also survived by his Aunt Patricia A. Adams of Ridgeland SC., and Uncle Henry J. Swan of Binghamton NY. He is predeceased by his parents Bennie Adril Boswell Sr. and Lillian Keturah Boswell. He was a cornerstone resident of Dewittsburg AKA "THE BURG". Thank you to the residents that participated in his vigil. He opened is home to everyone and grilled for everyone. He was a diehard fan of the New York Giants. He loved fishing and loved his beer. He loved music and loved to dance in his wheelchair. He was a joy to be around and loved to be with his family and friends. Just seeing his big smile brought out the best in all of us. He was loved and will be missed by all. Due to COVID-19 there will be a Memorial Service in his memory and honor in the summer of 2021, hosted by his family and all will be welcome to attend. Details will be provided when confirmed.
