Obituary of Kevin C. Crowningshield

Kevin C. Crowningshield Sr. Age 57 of Elmira. He was born November 6, 1962 in Waverly, NY, the son of the late Charles A. Crowningshield and Helen (Fitzgerald) Crowningshield and passed away on Saturday May 23, 2020. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Uncle Robert Crowningshield, Aunts Nancy Roark and Shirley Ricks. He is survived by his mother; his son Kevin C. Crowingshield Jr. and his son’s girlfriend Christine Brewer; his grandchildren Savannah, Charles & Kalden Crowningshield; younger brother Keith Crowningshield; his significant partner and love, Margaret Randall, her children and grandchildren as well as several of Kevin’s aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends including Bob and Mark Curren and “Stoney”. Kevin is remembered for his diehard love of the Chicago Bears, NASCAR and the New York Yankees. He shared his son and grandson’s passion for Kart Racing and as an integral part of the 44K Crowningshield Racing team, he enjoyed helping them be the best. He was a fantastic chef and loved making and sharing chicken BBQ. He was an avid gardener with a “green thumb” like no other! He had a love for wild birds and most importantly he was a beloved family man and friend who will be dearly missed. Private family services will be held at a later date. Kevin will be laid to rest alongside his father in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Elmira.
