Obituary of Leo R. Rinwalske

RINWALSKE, Leo R. Age 79 of Elmira, NY. He was born August 19, 1941 in Ogden, PA, son of the late Leo L. and Ethel (Erickson) Rinwalske and passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald and sisters Margaret LeMunyan and MaryAnne Greblewski. Leo is survived by his children Terri Roberts of Levittown, NY, Cheryl Rinwalske of Elmira, Christine & John Couse of Elmira, Tammi & Scott Brown of Elmira, Michelle & Rick Dart of Auburn, NY, Bryan Rinwalske & Breyanna Renshaw of Pine City; grandchildren Andrew (Brandi), Alycia, Danielle (Zach Cicora) and Dylan Rinwalske, Justin (Megan) Nelan, Brandon (Emilie) Couse, Amanda (Rob) Lord, Chase and Carter Brown, Richard, Hunter and Cobra Dart, Rachyl and Ryan Rinwalske; great grandchildren Serenity, Ashlyn, Ava, Liam, Evan, Landon, Lucas and Jack. Leo was a veteran of the U. S. Army Reserve. He owned and operated Rinwalske Towing for many years, succeeding his father who founded it in 1945. Leo lived and breathed Rinwalske Towing, old cars and especially his family. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, February13th from 11 am to 2 pm. COVID19 protocols will be strictly enforced. A tow truck procession, honoring Leo will begin at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations to the International Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame & Museum-Survivor Fund at https://internationaltowingmuseum.org/donate Survivor Fund.
