Obituary of Paul V. McKlevis

McKLEVIS, Paul V. "Mitzi" Age 81 of Elmira, NY. He was born December 2, 1939 in Elmira, son of the late Anthony and Leona (Moore) McKlevis and passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 unexpectedly at home. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia in 1992. Paul is survived by his daughters Marlene Stewart and Barbara McKlevis both of Elmira; son Paul McKlevis of Horseheads; grandsons Dr. James (Chven) Stewart, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Tyler (Kati) Stewart of Horseheads and Dylan Stewart of Elmira; granddaughter Jessica McKlevis of Rochester; great grandson Brice Stewart of Elmira. Paul retired from the Elmira City Fire Department at the rank of Captain after 31 years of service. He was currently employed with the Elmira City School District Bus Garage; was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps; a member of the Horseheads Eagles Club and enjoyed going to Tioga Downs. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, April 9th from 11 am to 1 pm. His funeral service will be held at 1 pm. Committal prayers and interment, with military honors, will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
