Shirley Ann Dennard

She was born February 4, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY and passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at home, in her bed, surrounded by her two sons. Shirley leaves to cherish her legacy and memories her sons, DeShawn Hollis and James Dennard Jr.; sister, Lois; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hazel (Carter) Hollis; loving husband, James Dennard. Family and friends are invited to visit Faith Temple COGIC, 765 Harper Street Elmira, NY on Monday, June 10th from 12 to 1 pm. Her Memorial Service will follow at 1 pm. Pastor Kale Mann will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, 1825 Davis Street Elmira, NY at the convenience of the family.
