Jacqueline Dawn Mann

Age 84, was born August 11, 1939 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Durwood J. and Rena M. (Bartholomew) Byam. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital SNF. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Mann Sr., son, John C. Mann Jr., sister, Judith Pollizi and son-in-law, Paul H. Bellamy. She is survived by her daughters, Tandelayo C. “Toni” Bellamy formerly of England and currently residing in Elmira; Tina C. (Freeman E.) Stephens Sr. of Lowman, NY; siblings, Lawrence M. Byam of Michigan; Angeline Y. Brixius of South Carolina; Albert Lee Byam of Florida; along with 11 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Jacqueline previously worked at Wendy’s in Horseheads, cleaned for Joe and Gail Parsons and John Travers. For many years she was a dedicated and faithful home health aide for Family Services of Chemung County. A Celebration of Jacqueline’s life will take place at a later date and time to be announced. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the Mann family.
