Carol I. Saxton

Age 83 of Elmira, NY. She was born December 26, 1940 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Richard and Thelma Hill and passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 unexpectedly, after a brief illness. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons David and Heath Meyers. She is survived by her husband John Saxton; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Irene Raznoff of Corning; sister Joyce Sherman of FL. Carol was a nurse with the Chemung County Health Department, where she developed the Chemung County WIC program. She retired after 20 years. She owned The Gingerbread House of Shops in Horseheads; loved gardening and decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
