J'Sean Anthony Williams "Papa"

November 14, 2003 – November 15, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of J'Sean Anthony Williams, lovingly known as "Papa," on November 15, 2024. Born on November 14, 2003, J'Sean was a bright light to everyone who knew him.

A proud graduate of Elmira High School on June 23, 2022, J'Sean was a talented musician who found joy in creating music and sharing it with those he loved. He cherished time with his family and friends, living life to its fullest. J'Sean often spoke with passion about his goals and ambitions, always striving for a bright future for himself and his beloved son, Jah'meir.

Known for his kind heart, sharp mind, and loving spirit, J'Sean was truly a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was his mother's "miracle baby," a testament to strength and love.

J'Sean is preceded in death by his older sister, Allison Tuma; his uncle, Lee Tuma; and his grandmothers, Janet Tuma, Marylou Williamson, and Rena Williams.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and hope, carried on by his cherished son, Jah'meir Williams-Donaldson; his devoted parents, Markedis and Carrie Williams; and his siblings, Jasmine Williams, Markedis Williams Jr., Haille Williams, Daisy Williams, Anthony Williams, and Ashlee Williams.

J'Sean's memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, J'Sean. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, November 25th from 1 to 4 pm. His funeral service will be held privately. Interment will take place in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
