Bob and Jeanette were married 60 years and their wishes were to be cremated and buried at the same time. Survivors left to cherish their memories are their 3 loving sons: Dennis R. (April), David H. (Michelle) and Douglas W. (Mary Beth) and the late Martin B. Hourihan survived by his wife, Sharon Hourihan. They are also survived by 6 grandchildren: Sarah (Adam) Brimmer, Matthew (Lindsy) Hourihan, Rebecca (Mat) Pettibone, Katie (Anthony) Almeida, Travis (Kayla) Pettibone and Zachary (Amanda) Pettibone; 6 step-grandchildren: Kevin, Michael, Stacey, Gina, Rebecca, and Nick; along with several great grandchildren. Bob and Jeannette were formerly of Buffalo, NY and moved to Elmira, NY in 2015 to be closer to family and friends when Bob was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Services for Bob and Jeannette on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Family friend, Diane Edwards will officiate. The Chemung County Veterans Honor Guard will accord Mr. Pettibone Military Honors.
