Age 61, was born December 28, 1963 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late James Christopher Siler and Ethel Mae (Stout) Brewer; she passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Her loving husband, George H. Young Sr.; daughter, Ethel Sedgwick preceded her in death. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her adored children: George H. Young, Jr., Kiwa Young, James Ray, Annabelle Young, Mary Young, Crystal Stepp and Angel Young; along with 33 grandkids and 6 great grandkids. Family and friends are invited to the Woodlawn National Cemetery 1825 Davis Street Elmira, NY 14901 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm to celebrate Ruth's life and honor her memory. Rev. David Ivy will officiate. Ruth will be laid to rest with her beloved George following the graveside service.
