was born on February 14, 1951, to John J. and Shirley (Stevens) Martin in Nicholson, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 7, 2025, due to unknown heart complications. A hardworking and dedicated man, David spent much of his life on the open road as a long-time over the raod truck driver. He took pride in his work, finding freedom in the miles he traveled and friendships in those he met along the way. Above all, David was a father to his children, Katanya Martin, Jesse Martin, and Christopher Martin. He was a man of strength, humor, and deep compassion, always willing to lend a helping hand or share a story that brought warmth and laughter. David recently endured the loss of his little brother, Doug, but found comfort in spending cherished time with his beloved big sister, Patricia Martin. Their bond was one of love, support, and shared memories that will live on. Though his time here ended suddenly, his impact on those who knew him will last a lifetime. He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, love, and a life well-lived. The family will gather privately to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
