Obituary of Kenneth E. Stevens Jr.

Age 78, was born April 14, 1945 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Kenneth E. and Matilda (Pine) Stevens Sr. Ken passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. His daughter, Sara Stevens; siblings, Lois Austin, Sarah Christian, Laura Fenton and Sam Stevens also preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Avery) Stevens; daughter, Tammy Taylor; step-sons, Scott Avery, Steven Marble, and Patrick Marble; along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ken spent a lot of time as an auto mechanic and Rodabaugh's Body Shop, where he enjoyed working beside his good friend Bob. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served his country. Ken was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 517 Elmira. Ken loved to go camping, boating, fishing, riding motorcycle and especially enjoyed playing euchre and canasta with family and friends. In his free time, Ken loved to take rides through the country and enjoying the scenery. Ken made it very clear that he did not want any services. Walter J.
