Obituary of Vern F. Cozad IV

Vern F. Cozad IV "Jay" Age 54 of Elmira, NY passed away _Thursday, February 20, 2025 unexpectedly at home. He was born May 29, 1970 in Elmira, the son of Vern F. and Carolyn (Anderegg) Cozad III. He was predeceased by his father in 2020. Vern is survived by his mother Carolyn; sisters and brothers-in-law Deanna & Mark Thein of Praire du Chien, WI, Jennifer & Ryan McKinley of Rochester, NY; nephews Kevin & Ryan Thein. Vern was a longtime employee with Able2 in various supervisory positions. He enjoyed traveling and the outdoors and was quite a storyteller with a quick wit and humor. No services are planned at this time.
