Obituary of Harold B. Adams

Harold B. Adams Age 73, was born February 4, 1952 in Elmira, the son of the late Harold Benjamin and Vera (Arthur) Adams. He went home to be with his Lord on Friday, March 7, 2025 peacefully at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. His brothers, Dennis Adams and Randy Adams; sisters, Gloria Spell, Glenna Shaw and Evea Klock preceded him in death. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Beverly (Wilcox) Adams; beloved children: Denny (Heather) Adams of Wellington, FL; Christopher (Alicia) Adams of Endicott, NY; Jeremy (Mary) Adams of Corning, NY; Melissa Redman of Van Etten, NY; Brian Adams of Cortland, NY; sister, Robin (Earl) Stephenson of Troutman, NC; adored grandchildren: Brendan, Casey, Aria and Katelyn; Christopher, Austin and Alexis; Nick, Zoey, Aidan and Nya; along with 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. For many years Harold worked in the maintenance department for the Odessa/Montour School District in Montour Falls, NY. He loved to fish and enjoyed playing golf. He was an avid NASCAR fan and was a huge fan of the # 3 Dale Earnhardt. What Harold was so excited about was giving his life over to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was looking so forward to going to church on Sundays and sitting next to his beloved Beverly. Family and friends are invited to visit Central Assembly of God One Brenway Drive Horseheads, New York on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Harold's Celebration of Life will be held there after the visitation at 5 pm. Pastor Joe Chamberlain will officiate. Interment and Committal Prayers will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery Horseheads, NY at the convenience of the family. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the Adams family.
