Gary A. Rickard

Age 73 of Horseheads, NY, formerly of Cameron, NY. He was born June 24, 1951 in Indiana, PA, son of the late Ira E. and Iona I. (Chelton) Rickard and passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at home after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jacqueline; stepchildren and their spouses, Cindy & Rick Horton of Bradford, NY, Michelle & Adam Sherwood of Lowman; grandchildren Anthony (Jodie Burdick) Blencowe, Kennedy (Nolan Miller) Blencowe, Declan, Cameron and Aiden Sherwood; siblings Dianna Leither of N. Tonawanda, NY, Ira (Julie) Rickard of SC and Duane (Sandy) Rickard of Niagara Falls, NY along with several nieces and nephews. Gary was employed as a mechanic in the area, recently at Glen Harbor Marins in Watkins Glen. He was very proud that he built his own home and enjoyed automobile racing, having owned and drove race cars. No services are planned.
