Obituary of Gail Hoodak-Chaffee

Gail Marie Hoodak-Chaffee Age 71, passed away on April 28, 2025 from an extended illness. She was born in Elmira, New York daughter of the late Stephen Hoodak Sr. and Mary (Roman) Hoodak. Gail was predeceased by her husband, Howard Chaffee and brothers and sister, LaVerne Hoodak, Sandra Durizch, and Stephen Hoodak Jr. Gail is survived by her daughters, Danielle Hoodak and Stasha Hoodak-Murray; grandchildren Christopher Hoodak, Timothy Davis Jr., Isis Sinclaire, and Jared Murray; great-granddaughter Braylynn; brother & sister-in-law, Daniel and Martha (Cardinale) Hoodak; sister & brother-in-law, Vicki (Hoodak) and John Cardinale and several nieces and nephews. Gail attended EFA high school. She retired from having her own daycare. She enjoyed going to the casino and watching her NASCAR races. Her joy in life was her grandkids and great granddaughter. She enjoyed family gatherings in the summer. At Gail's request, there will be no services.
