Joshua James Carnegie

Age 29 of Elmira, NY. He was born August 25, 1995 in Elmira, the son of Edward James Carnegie and Joy (Glover) Murphy and passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 unexpectedly. He was predeceased by his father Edward James Carnegie; grandmothers Joan M. Glover and Mary Catherine Carnegie. Josh is survived by his children Bryson Carnegie of FL and Dax Carnegie of Elmira; mother Joy (Ken) Murphy of Summerville, SC; sister Trisha (Kyle) Woltjen of Fairport, NY; brother Sean (Carolyn) Little of Elmira; niece and nephews Aria and Colin Quattrini, Ian and Mason Little; grandfather John H. Glover, Sr. of Summerville, SC along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Josh was a loving and caring father, brother and son. He adored his 2 children and loved to be around family. He was an avid NY Yankees and Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved standup comedy. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, May 23rd from 4 to 6 pm. His funeral and committal services will follow at 6 pm.
