Elaine B. Velia age 93, was born December 19, 1931 in Elmira New York, and passed away May 4, 2025. She is survived by her loving children, Susan Porter and Daniel (Ann) Velia of Elmira, brothers Elmer (Butch) and Donald of Elmira, grandsons Joseph and Mark Velia of Elmira, and her great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Elaine Stanton. Elaine was a dedicated and hard-working woman raising her children and working for Westinghouse and Shepard Niles. She was also a long-time member at Trinity Episcopal Church. She loved doing all types of puzzles and reading in her free time. The family of Elaine would also like to thank the Staff at Elcor for the care they have provided Elaine during her time there.
