Obituary of Felix W. Banks

Age 79 of Elmira, NY. He was born May 8, 1946 in Bessemer, AL, son of the late Ulysses and Floretta (Butler) Banks and passed away Friday, June 6, 2025. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers U.D. (Bunkey) Banks and Julius Banks. He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Jeanie) Banks; children Wayne Hicks of CO, Dwayne Conkright of Elmira, Felicia Frazier of Elmira, Samantha Conkright of CA and Lawrence (PJ) Baxter of Elmira; 16 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Felix retired from the City of Elmira DPW. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and U. S. Army. Private graveside service, with military honors, will take place at the convenience of the family.
