Marvin H. "Marv" Thornton Obituary
Age 60 of Elmira, NY, passed away Wednesday July 30, 2025 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. He was predeceased by his parents, and brother Edward Avery. Marvin is survived by his loving girlfriend Pamela Moody and his fury companions. Marvin, also known as “Marv” loved to cook and worked many years as a chef at Maple Lawn Dairy. Marvin also served in the U.S. Army as a Soaring Eagle in the 1980’s.
At his request there will be no services.
