Annie C. Cheatham

Age 48 of Elmira, NY passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. Annie was born on August 17, 1977. She was the eldest daughter of Lionel C Cheatham and Lissie Ann Thompkins. Annie is well known for her cooking and baking skills, some would say, "she put it down in the Kitchen". Her famous dishes are: Potato salad, Macaroni Cheese, as well as her cakes.

Annie was predeceased by her Mother Lissie Ann Thompkins, and her daughter, Jalyse Payne. She is survived by her father Lionel C Cheatham, Stepmother Ann Shay-Cheatham, Siblings: Michelle Howard, Kiesha Cheatham, Stephen Cheatham, Roberta Cheatham, Anson Rollins-Cheatham, (Stepsister) Jade Stroman, as well as sister-cousin, Seleana Williams. Annie had a host of nieces and nephews, but she had a special bond with Joshua Chaffer, Jared Cheatham, Jeremaih Cheatham, and Lissano Cheatham. Annie had loving and supportive Friends, (Richard Payne, Missy Oglesby, and Tee Murphy). Annie was very loving and generous, and she had a wonderful bond with her godchildren, especially Jaki Banks.

Family and Friends are invited to visit Faith Temple Church 765 Harper Street. Elmira, NY on Tuesday, October 14th from 11 am to 12 noon. Her funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Minister Roberta Cheatham will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
