Bradford James Baker age 50, was born September 25, 1975 in Elmira, NY. He went to the “great gig in the sky” early morning October 8, 2025. He was known for many great things, a father, grandfather, son, brother, dear friend and for his love of art and music. He was the singer/front man for bands Shovelbarn, King Snyder, Pupil and Learn by Hate, along with many guest appearances. He captured the heart of many fans. Brad had trust and passion in everything he did in life and an extreme love for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and Reese’s peanut butter cups. Brad was preceded in death by his father, David M. Baker; maternal grandparents, Edward and Shirley Lenox; paternal grandparents, Forrest and Barbara Baker. He is survived by his beloved mother, Libby Lenox Baker, son, Justice J. Baker (Malea Molina); grandson, Elias J. Baker; brothers David C. Baker, Mark F. Baker; his aunt Karen Lenox/Robinson, who he loved so very much and was always by his side. Brad’s close friend, Dora (Dodie) Van Gorden, who was with him till the very end. He is also survived by beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. At Brad’s request no services will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
