Age 73 of Horseheads, NY, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 23, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Debra is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Andrew Gessick; daughter Darcey (Jeremy) Foulkrod (grandson Aaron) of Horseheads; son Dan Stuck (grandson Aijent) of Elmira; sister-in-law Mary Ann (Tim) Menechella of Virginia Beach, VA; niece Jennifer of Virginia Beach, VA; nephew Andrew (Nicole) Menechella of Elmira Heights as well as a beloved friend Gloria Ciavardini of Chemung. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews as well as cousins and friends. Debra enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren and family. She also enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her dog Nick. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, November 8th from 2 to 4 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 4 pm. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
