Francis Royce, age 63, has gone home with the Lord. He passed away at Arnot Ogden Medical center on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Elmira, NY. Francis passed away peacefully and very suddenly surrounded by his family and friends. Francis was a loving , kind and passionate soul to everyone he met. He was predeceased by his father, Francis Adelbert Royce and his brother, Robert Royce. Leaving behind his surviving family and friends with very heavy hearts are his mother, Alice Jean (Applebee) Royce; his sister's, Robin Royce, Karen(Jim) Perry, Diana Walburn and Kelly Lauferswiler; his brother, Sylvester (Jill) Lauferswiler Jr.; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends. Also surviving Francis is his long-time longtime friend Susie and her brother Eric; his caregiver Dave with over 20 years of friendship. Known as "Franny" or "Frank" to his family and friends, he will be deeply missed and mourned by his family and friends. Reminiscing his childhood to adulthood memories are bringing his family and friends comfort during this very difficult time. Francis will be truly loved, missed and cherished by his family and friends. Rest in peace Frances until we meet again! Services will be held at the discretion of his family.
