Age 80, was born December 14, 1944 in Ithaca, NY the daughter of the late William H. and Hazel (Leader) Scott. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the Sayre Health Care Center in Sayre, PA. Marigene is survived by her loving son, Scott Ripley of Zephyrhills, FL; granddaughter, Amanda Ripley of Enfield, CT; life partner Tom Diller of Maitland, FL. Marigene graduated from Ithaca High School and studied at Cornell University. She retired as a secretary with the IBEW Local # 139 and also worked part time for the Elmira Police Department. She was a huge New York Yankees fan. At her request there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date and time.
