Jess E. Coakley

Age 66, of Elmira, NY was born September, 10, 1959 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late John and Esther (Dimmick) Coakley. He passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center SNF.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard "Pops" Andrus. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his loving children: son, John Granger; daughter, Ashley Granger; adored granddaughter, Ambriella Granger; beloved siblings: Becky Breese, Richann Roybler, Christine Andrus, Andy Andrus, Glenn Andrus, Jamie (Charlie) Griswold; along with several nieces and nephews. Jess was a huge NASCAR fan and never missed a race. He loved and followed the "watermelon man" Ross Chastain. Jess was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. Services for Mr. Coakley will be held at a later date and time.
