Frances E. Carl

Age 97 of Wellsburg, NY. She was born November 15, 1928 in Elkland, PA, daughter of the late James and Stella (Abbott) Cooper and passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 at home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Delos Carl in 1980, son Delos J. Carl in 2013 and infant son Gerald Carl. She is survived by her companion and caregiver Pastor Charles Mathews; daughters Diane Carl of Elmira and Connie Newell of Elmira Heights; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many great, great grandchildren. Frances enjoyed spending time with her family and playing casino games on her tablet. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, December 30th from 11 am to 1 pm. Her funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
