Nancy A. (Campanelli) Murphy

age 62 of Pine City, NY passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 very unexpectedly. She was born January 26, 1963 in Elmira, daughter of the late Michael J. Campanelli, Jr. and Gilda (Cieri) Campanelli. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her in-laws Michael and Janice Murphy. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Michael L. Murphy; daughter Joli Milks of Horseheads; grandchildren Nicholas (Alyson Arnold) Crawford of Sayre, PA, Emily and Carter Crawford both of Horseheads; great grandson Braxton; siblings Steven (Jane) Campanelli of Elmira, Daniel (Debra) Campanelli of Horseheads, Michael R. (Roseanne) Campanelli of Hammondsport and Laura (Kip) Lowe of Rapid City, SD; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Patricia Murphy of Dearborn, MI, Richard (Pamela) Murphy of Elmira, Mark (Teresa) Murphy of Elmira, Matthew (Bridget) Murphy of Elmira and Maureen (Matthew) Throumoulos of Webster, NY along with several nieces and nephews. Nancy was a devout catholic and a communicant of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She retired from Nancy A. Murphy Agency/Allstate Insurance in Elmira after 35 years. She loved to walk at Chapel Park and gardening (her favorite pastime that helped her keep her peace), loved the beach and her pets, Noel (dog) and Porter (cat), but most importantly, she was a loving, giving and caring person who always put her family first. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, January 9th from 4 to 7 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10th at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin St., Elmira, with Rev. Patrick Connor and Rev. Richard Farrell as Celebrants. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
