April Lee Starkweather

Age 55, of Elmira Heights passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her beloved parents: Walter and Priscilla Kapp loving children: Marek Starkweather, Zoe Weeks, Alexei Starkweather, Colby Weeks and Madison Starkweather; sister: Valerie Kapp; along with grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends. April loved music and shared her love for it by singing with Common Time Choral Group. She loved being in her kitchen and was a fantastic cook. At her request there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of April's life will be held at a later date and time in the spring.
