Born- Ft Pierce FL 10/29/1979 46yrs old- killed by a coward from behind. But that still didn't stop Josh from giving life to others. He was an organ donor. You couldn't stop his heart from continuing to beat.

Josh spent his younger years in Waverly, NY before moving to Elmira NY. He always talked about his Parley Coburn teachers, Mr Pell and Miss Ransey. He played in Hamlet and made a DARE video. From an early age, he loved making videos and recording rap.

Josh has always loved animals. He would bring all sorts of critters home. While visiting zoos, he would always make the animal noises. That passion never left him.

He was an Entrepreneur and dabbled in music videos, recording, Air B&Bs, flipping cars and even cotton candy.

He made others laugh with his voice impersonations and pranks. If you didn't answer the phone when he called, you could count on an interesting message he would leave.

Pre-deceased by: Grandma and Umpy Battisti, Grandpa Frank, Stepmom Emma Arnold, Aunt Carole and Uncle Earl. Also many of his friends.

Survived by his Children: Alisionna, Xavier,Noah Tappan

• His parents: Lisa Battisti and David Tappan

• Sister: Courtney (Jon) Duvall (and his new Nephew Jack Henry)

• Sis from another Mother (as they called it) Dianna Arnold

• His Aunts and Uncles: Lynette, Char (Joe), Stephanie, Verne, Jim (Pam), Joe (Jeanne) and Elaine. Along with countless Cousins and other relatives that he held close to his heart.

• His Grandma GiGi (Rose Monte) He loved her so much.

• His longtime companion and friend Qua. They loved to travel and explore. He adored her two daughters Zhalia (Lia) and My'Asia (Muffie) and treated them as if they were his own.

Joshua (X- Harlem—Swag-Dipset)- the many names, but one heart. He was surrounded by so many friends that he treasured. He would want everyone to live life to the fullest, to seek God for guidance and follow the path he sets before you. Remember that same heart is still beating.

There will be no services at this time. We will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
