David S. Turner was born in Corning, NY on September 20, 1956, son of the late Milton Phelps and Madeline Belnap, and passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 9, 2026 at the age of 69.

David is survived by his wife Rose M. Turner; son Derek (Ashley) Turner of Wisconsin with their daughter Audrey; daughter Heather Turner of Pine Valley, NY; stepdaughter Jamie Turner with her daughters Ella, Kendra and Alexandra Ayers; brother Ernest (Linda) Turner; sister Candace Delles (late husband Earl Delles) of Erin, NY, along with several nieces and nephews.

David graduated from Northern Tioga School in 1975. He served in the US Army for six years from 1984-1990 with honors and worked at Kennedy Valve in Elmira, NY. David also worked landscaping with his brother Ernest Turner. David enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
