Seymour Lynn Carey

Age 72, was born March 31, 1953 in Sayre, PA the son of the late James Lynn and Betty (Hughner) Carey. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2026 at the Corning Hospital after a brief illness. His quadruplet daughters, Marie, Jessica, Marissa and Margery Carey; brothers, Andrew (Andy) Carey and James (Jim) Carey also preceded him in death. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Wendy Baker; loving daughter and son-in-law, Callie and Travis Wheeler; grandkids, Kristiana and Jonah Wheeler; brothers, Keith Carey, Wallace Carey and Douglas Carey; beloved son, Troy Share; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. For over 20 years, Seymour was a dedicated welder for Storflex in Corning, NY. Seymour absolutely loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR fan and followed the # 88, Dale Earnhardt Jr. He was also a huge football fan with his # 1 team being the Miami Dolphins. If for some reason they didn't fair too well, he then would cheer on the division rivalries, the Buffalo Bills. In his free time he loved visiting the Deaf Club. Everyone that came in contact with enjoyed his friendship. He was so loved by everybody around him. At his request there will be no services. A Celebration of Seymour's life will be held at a later date and time in 2026.
