Age 83, was born February 15, 1942 in Olean, NY, the son of the late Cecil Clyde and Bernice (Hannigan) Stevens Sr. He passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. His loving wife of 44 years, Madeline C. (Westlake) Stevens preceded him in death April 20, 2008. His beloved daughter, Sharon Marie Stevens also predeceased him. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his children: son, Steve (Bertha) Stevens; son, James (Janine) Stevens; daughter, Sally Stevens and Jesus; daughter, Sonya Stevens; son, Scott Stevens and Maria; sister, Sandra (Robert) Caskey of Prescott, AZ; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Cecil was a Veteran of the US Army proudly serving his country. He was a machinist by trade. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Cecil had many talents. He was a gunsmith, locksmith, carpenter and simply a jack of all trades. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Interment, with military honors, will take place in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery at a later date and time to be announced.
