Thomas "Tom" Snyder, 64, passed away on April 8, 2026 at Chemung County Nursing Facility surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born January 10, 1962, in Elmira, NY. Tom was the son of the late Robert and Barbara (Burns)Snyder. He was also predeceased by his sister Kathleen Decker. Tom is survived by his children, Justin (Ashley) Snyder, Jennifer (Timothy) Castle. His grandchildren Jadin Cady, Molly Castle and Brynn Castle, Sisters Brenda (Luke) Wandell and Deborah (Gary) May, His brother Robert "Bob" Snyder Jr., His dear cousin Glenn Snyder and many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Tom loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR and watching football and westerns. Tom was a gentle and friendly soul. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Per Tom's wishes, a private gathering will be held for the immediate family.
