Age75 of Gillett, PA. She was born July 6, 1950 in Elmira, the daughter of Ulysses and Carmela (DiStefano) Culver and passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at home. She was predeceased by her father Ulysses Culver, husband Fred Tongue and significant other James Donahue. She is survived by her daughters Susan (William) Hawthorne, Michelle (Charles) Larrabee and Pamela (Adam Tyman) Kreisler; grandchildren Rachael Talada, Kaitlyn Tedesco, Gabrielle Dunkelberger, Charles, Haley & Andrew Larrabee, Madilyn & Lexie Kreisler and Joshua Marshall; great grandchildren Kailey & Ryan Talada; mother Carmela Culver; brothers Stephen (Donna) & Michael (Cindy) Culver along with several nieces and nephews. Christine was employed with Guthrie for 21 years and truly loved the work she did. She had a caring heart and truly enjoyed helping others, whether through her work, her family, or simply being there for people when they needed her. Her greatest joy was her family. For many years, she enjoyed dancing. She will be remembered for her strength and resilliance. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, May 10th from 5 to 7 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 11th at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin St., Elmira. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Gillett Cemetery. Her family would like to thank her home caregivers, Rachal and Willie as well as the Guthrie oncology, Palliative and Hospice providers and staff.
