John C. Marsden
Age 69 of Elmira, NY passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 unexpectedly at home. He was predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Viginia (Johnston) Marsden and is survived by his sister Mary Marsden of Cape Cod, MA along with several cousins and close friends. John was a longtime employee of Sears, working in their warehouse. He graduated from EFA; loved his cat Blackjack, the beaches of Cape Cod, the Fingerlakes, music, a good history/political discussion, a good fireworks display, among other things. He was a member of the Elmira Country Club and the former Bing Social Club of West Elmira. No services are scheduled.
