Jeffrey David Saxton Jr.

Age 52, was born August 10, 1973 in Orlando, FL the son of Jeffrey David and Brenda (Walp) Saxton Sr. Jeffrey left us to soon on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. His father and namesake preceded him in death December 7, 2016. Survivors left to cherish and honor his memory are his beloved mother, Brenda J. Saxton; fiancée, Tanya Johnson with her parents, Rusty and Joann Johnson; sisters, Heather Saxton and Nicole Kingsbury; loving children: sons, Brandyn (Madyson) Saxton, Christopher Saxton, Nickolas Lawson and Charity Lawson; bonus daughter, Nyasia Thomas; along with several other relatives and many friends. Jeffrey was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country from 1992 to 1995. Jeffrey loved God, enjoyed fishing and cooking and followed his favorite NFL football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Family and friends are invited to visit the Bentley-Trumble American Legion Post # 442 71 Old Ithaca Road Horseheads, NY 14845 on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. His funeral service will follow at 7 pm. Pastor Nicole Colwell will officiate. The Chemung County Honor Guard will accord Mr. Saxton with Military Honors prior to his services.
