Ellen G. Benjamin

Age 70 of Elmira, NY, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 unexpectedly. She was predeceased by her mother Agnes Webster, son David Crouthamel; brother Dean Webster; father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles Benjamin and Doris Benjamin-Simons; step father-in-law George Simons; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Gary L. and Linda M. Benjamin, Kathy Norton and Joanne Watts. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert E. Benjamin; children Melissa Crouthamel, Robert F. (Jenna) Benjamin; grandchildren and great grandchildren Brittany Crouthamel (Anthony) with children Beckham and Londyn, Jake Brooks III with child Xa'mira, Alexis Crouthamel with children Camden, Ahmariana, Mae'Anna and Tobias, Brenden Crouthamel with children Laikyn, Atavia and Tatum, Tyrell Morgan with children Ka'Siah, Ja'Niah, Ty'liah and Tyrell, Jr., Aneesah Morgan with child Ri'Ni, Codi Crouthamel, Hailey-Ann Crouthamel, Justin Mundt, Jr. (Lauren) with child Kai'Axton, Kyleigh Newton, Landon Crouthamel, Arabella Benjamin and Alaina Benjamin; brother Edward Webster; dear neighbors Linda and Frank Derr, all of Elmira. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, June 5th from 5 to 7 pm. Her memorial service will follow at 7 pm. Interment will be in Wyalusing Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
