Willard Franklin Burlingame

Age 85, was born April 6, 1941 in Troy, PA the son of the late Willilam and Elsie (Meeker) Burlingame. Passed away peacefully in Bath, NY on Thursday, May 21, 2026. His loving wife, Lori A. (Horton) Burlingame preceded him in death September 1, 2020. Willard was also predeceased by his siblings: brothers, Ellis, Charlie, Leon and Richard Burlingame; sisters, Mae Morton, Gertie Hosmer, Leona Hoffman and Lucinda Williams. Survivors left to cherish his memory are: daughter, Patricia (Jason) Peters; grandchildren: grandson, Jordan Sheehan; granddaughter, Izabelle Peters; grandson, Nathan Peters; great granddaughter, Mylah Sheehan; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Willard was an outdoorsman and loved camping and fishing. He was a huge NASCAR fan following the # 2 Rusty Wallace and also enjoyed dirt track races. He also loved rummaging and playing cards. Willard was a handyman and a jack of all trades. In his spare time, he enjoyed his records, and western movies, and also loved playing games on his tablet. He along with his beloved wife Lori, were huge fans of the NFL Buffalo Bills. Family and friends are invited to Willard's graveside service on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2 pm in Woodlawn Cemetery {meeting at the Walnut Street gate}. Lay Pastor John P. Knapp will officiate.
