Obituary of Marjorie A. Ames

AMES, Marjorie A. Age 82 of Elmira, NY. She was born April 18, 1934 in Elmira, daughter of the late Ernest and Bertha (Freelove) Hall and passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas G. Ames on November 10, 2007 and is survived by her daughter Margo L. Combs; grandson Douglas R. (Amanda) Ames; great grandchildren Douglas R. Ames, Jr and Stella Lynn Rose Ames all of Elmira. Marjorie was a loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Iszard's Department Store where she was a Buyer for 40 years. She loved traveling to New York City on buying trips for Iszard's.
